1hr Fire Rated - Plaster Door/Bead Frame

Ceildoor’s Fire Rated Wall Access Panels meet UK Building Regulations, and were re-tested by Warrington Fire on 2 March 2023 in accordance with the European Standard EN 1364-2:2-18. These test reports are valid until 21 March 2028.

Test Smoke Seal
Our uniquely designed Fire Rated Access Panel comes with a fitted and tested smoke seal. The high density gasket seal prevents smoke leakage in real-life fire situations which is often required as a minimum standard on modern day projects where a fire risk has been identified.

This means our 1 Hour Fire Rated Wall Access Panels are also suitable for use as flue inspection hatches for heat producing appliances such as boilers, gas cookers and open hearths as required by UK Part J Building Regulations compliance.

Fire Rated Build Quality
Our one hour Fire Rated Wall and Ceiling Access Panels are made from 1mm Zintec steel door shell and frame. Our design includes a fixed hinge support system which provides extra support for the door in the event of a fire. The panel also comes with fire board fitted and recessed into the back of the door which avoids any restrictions to an accessible opening.

The panels are painted with fully polyester powder coated providing a solid, durable Access Panel that is also highly resistant to weather, abrasion, rust, chemical and solvent corrosion.

Designed to be used in residential, commercial, retail and education environments, our 1 Hour Fire Rated Access Panels fit securely in both wall and ceiling environments and come with a range of lock options.

Please note, our metal faced and plaster faced one hour fire rated hatches were tested in an MF ceiling. The installed panel was facing into the fire so integrity against fire is based on one side only. Please ensure our panels are suitable for your needs before ordering.
