Aluminium Orangery Roofs

Although Orangeries are often associated with rather grand houses from years gone by there is a growing demand for a premium product that will transcend the traditional conservatory providing an independent space that more closely resembles an extension to the house, a bright, open and flexible additional living space that will make a significant and valuable enhancement to any home or commercial property, with all the light, warmth and ambience that a Glass roof will provide.

We have teamed up with Quantal to provide the Aluminium roof for the Orangery because they have developed an Orangery cassette system designed by deconstructing the traditional timber orangery flat roof and rebuilding it in a modular form.

The complete system is based on BBA-certified Glulam beams, which are pre-constructed to the precise dimensions required before being delivered complete and ready for installation.

The Quantal orangery roof cassette comes complete with high performance pre-cut insulation panels. Combined with the thermally broken fixings, these allow a U-value of 0.2 to be achieved by the timber part of the roof. This effectively removes the need for through ventilation, which can be difficult to achieve in an orangery roof.

This is an economical, simple and durable alternative to the timber roofing system: an aluminium orangery roofing cassette system will save time in the design and structural planning process and on-site installation.

This unique orangery roof system makes the construction of an orangery-style roof a simple three-step process. Its modular cassette design is structurally guaranteed by Quantal s experienced technical team, and makes the installation of orangery roofing a quick and easy process.

Below the Aluminium Roof an Orangery may have windows and doors of PVCu, Timber or Aluminium set between Walls and pillars built in the material to match or compliment the existing property. Internally there will be a wide frame created by the modular cassette of the roof that may have down lighting incorporated.
