The DALI broadcast module provides control of up to 240 DALI luminaires across twelve Dali channels. The module is typically used in areas such as carparks, corridors, lobbies and cores where control of individual luminaires is not required yet there is a requirement for adjustment of lighting levels through dimming.
The broadcast approach provides the dimming and monitoring benefits of DALI without the need to address ballasts on site, and the module broadcasts commands to groups of DALI fittings while monitoring each luminaire. The module is typically located within the electrical riser.
The module incorporates distributed intelligence and ISO open protocol Lon technology for seamless interoperability with other building services.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Delmatic is consulted before specifying.
