Salvo HW3264 - Engineered Wood Flooring UV Oiled European Oak 1-Strip 20x180mm Prime
This dark brown engineered European Oak floor is installed in a one strip pattern. The engineered construction adds significant stability to the board allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.
HW3264 Salvo is characterised by the sawn timber being passed through rotating brushes to highlight the grain structure and give natural texture to the surface. Additionally a reactive smoking of the surface creates deeper, warmer tones in the wood. Expect more colour variation. The surface is prefinished with a UV cured hardwax oil that offers the advantages of lacquer with the subtety of oil, the micro-porous, water-repellent surface also offers higher protection from stains.
With its prime grading, you should find few, if any knots, and these would be of minimal size. There will also be a minimal amount of sapwood and filler it at all. Prime grade timber offers the cleanest and minimalist look.
All four sides of this plank feature a bevelled edge which accentuates the outer perimeter of each individual board. The planks include a tongue and groove profile and can be floated on a high-quality underlay, and can also be installed by glue or nail down installation.
