Black Honed Granite

Although the general trend for worktops has moved towards lighter colours in recent years, Black Granite remains one of our top sellers thanks to its ability to complement almost any style or colour scheme.For this project, our client chose Honed Black Granite, which offers smooth matt look as an alternative to the traditional polished granite finish.This classic installation shows Honed Black Granite blending beautifully with the deep grey painted base cabinets, whilst contrasting with the warm cream tone of the cabinetry above the worktops.The worktops feature a cut-out for circular undermounted sink and radius corners on the breakfast bar peninsula.Honed granite does require a little more care and maintenance than polished surfaces and shows surface marks more easily when viewed against the light, so this should be taken into consideration when selecting materials for worktops.Kitchen installation by Baker & Baker.
