A1 BrickBoard: The A1 fire-rated brick slip system
The A1 BrickBoard cladding system (previously known as Brickshield) is a brick slip system based on a unique cement composite carrier board with channels pre-cut for the brick slips. The carrier board can be mechanically fixed to almost any substrate to create a durable, brick facade that is both cost-effective and simple to install.
By using A1 fire rated components throughout the system, the BrickBoard brick slip system contains no combustible elements or materials that might contribute to either the ignition or propagation of fire, making it suitable for use on buildings above 18m high, subject to appropriate approvals.
