ProofTherm is a high-performance, mineral-based insulating render and plaster system designed to improve the thermal, hygrothermal, and acoustic performance of both internal and external wall constructions.
Formulated using expanded perlite lightweight aggregates and a hydraulic lime binder, ProofTherm delivers a vapour-permeable (“breathable”) insulation layer that is particularly suited to solid wall, heritage, and retrofit applications, where conventional impermeable insulation systems may be unsuitable.
The product functions as a basecoat insulating render, combining thermal upgrade and substrate levelling in a single application. ProofTherm provides a hybrid solution between traditional render and insulation systems, offering measurable thermal improvement while preserving vapour permeability.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that ProofShield Ltd is consulted before specifying.
