ROCKWOOL Frame Slab 32 has been engineered as a semi-rigid insulation slab to provide a friction fit between the studwork of timber frame walls. Saving on installation time and reducing waste, the friction fit helps to support performance by avoiding thermal bridging and gaps in the structure. Even as the timber studs continue to dry out and contract over the time, the Thermal Frame Slab 32 will stay firmly in place.
Manufactured from stone wool, ROCKWOOL Thermal Frame Slab 32 is rated Euroclass A1 non-combustible and is able to withstand temperatures in excess of 1,000°C. The density and non-directional fibre orientation of stone wool means it also supports acoustic requirements.
ROCKWOOL Thermal Frame Slab 32 is manufactured using NyRock technology a patented high-speed technological innovation which delivers the most thermally efficient stone wool insulation currently available in the UK and Ireland.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Rockwool Group is consulted before specifying.
