Dryzone renovation plasters are breathable and they contain a blend of ingredients developed to control dampness and salt migration in Walls.
The plasters are used as part of the Dryzone System for replastering after Dryzone Damp-Proofing Cream or Dryrod Damp-Proofing Rods have been used to create a remedial DPC. These highly effective renovation plasters have a porous structure which controls salt migration and allows walls to dry out by evaporation.
Suitable for use on salt and damp contaminated walls and provides enhanced salt protection compared with competing products.
Where time is a major concern Dryzone Express Replastering System should be considered. This is hybrid Plasterboard system that can treat walls affected by rising damp and prepare them for redecoration in under 24 hours.
Dryzone Renovation Plasters are specially designed to deal with salt migration and dampness when a wall is drying down after the installation of a DPC.
Standard gypsum plasters soak up residual moisture left in the wall. Any salts in the wall migrate to the surface and break down the structure Plaster.
The porus structure of Dryzone Renovation Plasters allows walls to breath and dry down naturally with allowing salt and moisture to migrate to the surface or damage the plasters structural integrity.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Safeguard Europe is consulted before specifying.
