Solex LINEAR Solar Shading System
Solex™ LINEAR has a solid 'Z' shaped Geometric blade profile inclined at 45 degrees. The system is designed to offer either a 'continuous' or 'modular' shading appearance when fitted to the building and is suitable for fixing back to brickwork, Curtain Walling or steelwork.
The shading blade profiles fix back to Single wing or double wing 'hollow-section' rafter support arms using the 'clip-LOK' carrier railing system to avoid use of mechanical fixings and permit blade movement caused by expansion. Top cap sections are then fixed over the rafters to trap the blade profiles for security from wind loads and potential theft or vandalism. The blades can span up to 2500mm unsupported, thereafter mid-rail support rafters may be required.
