Gas boilers are responsible for 60% of carbon dioxide emissions in the UK and with 22 million homes using gas boilers, that‘s a significant level of pollution. The government is making steps to help reduce the impact by banning gas boilers in new builds by 2025.
Available with a pump or without, the new electric boiler range is a perfect water heating solution for homes without a gas supply or where space is at a premium. The compact nature of the boilers makes them ideal to be easily hidden away out of sight. Both versions of the boilers work with:
- Traditional central heating radiators
- Wet underfloor heating manifolds
- Conventional room thermostats
- Thermostatic radiator valves
The benefits of the new boiler range include:
- 99.8% energy-efficiency
- Faster installation time
- Compact therefore ideal for small spaces
- Options with or without a pump
- Longest warranty in the UK
- Wide range of sizes and outputs
- Ideal for off grid applications such as solar PV
For heating and hot water applications
The water in the circuit must be treated with a suitable inhibitor and a magnetic filter must be fitted on the return line.
For underfloor heating applications
By using a dedicated electric boiler you can set the desired flow temperature which reduces the need for tempering with added cold water. This increases energy efficiency and reduces running costs.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that ThermoSphere is consulted before specifying.
