Loft Hatch Insulated Fire Rated - Metal Loft Door Hatch ** We can make any size Loft Hatch, email [email protected] with your structural opening (hole size) for a quote. ** (lead time on Loft Hatch is 5 working days) Our Fire Rated Loft Hatch will fit into any 1-hour fire rated ceiling allowing you to gain access to your loft space. The metal door tray is filled with mineral fibre insulation with a U value of 0.037 W/mK. The door has a concealed continuous hinge, and is secured using a three-way locking system. A 25mm wide picture frame surround is provided for retrofit. The panel is fixed into position by screwing through the side of the frame into your timber surround of the structural opening. The Loft hatch comes as standard with our 3 way locking system and is manufactured from a 1.2mm thick zintec steel frame and a 1.0mm door with a polyester powder coating of matt white RAL 9010 20% gloss. It has been tested to give 1 hour s fire integrity. Bespoke sizes available on request.
