Portal Plus Biometric Readers
A range of capacitive and swipe capacitive biometric fingerprint readers are available for the Portl Plus access control system. Both flush mounting and surface options available as either self-contained fingerprint readers or available within the VR4K series and VR120 series vandal resistant series range.
With a storage capacity of up to 9500 fingerprints (for the BIOCS, VR4KBIO and DINBIOC) and a storage capacity of up to 100 fingerprints (for the B100S and DINB100-E) both types of fingerprint reader have programmable Wiegand outputs of 8 to 128 bits (deafult 26 bits). They also include RS485 connectivity used for fingerprint transfer and configuration. Biometric reader configuration and fingerprint enrolment is carried out through the PROS CS software.
The self-contained surface fingerprint readers are available in a moulded aluminium silver housing. The DIN biometric fingerprint electronics are designed for flush mounting and are designed to fit into a standard UK single gang electrical box with the option of either a silver, charcoal or white front DIN face plate cover (DINFP series).
