Yeoman Shield Guardian Handrail
The Original Yeoman Shield Guardian handrail is a 125 mm deep, 40 mm grip top handrail offering support to those who require it whilst protecting the Walls in people-busy buildings.
Recently improved by introducing a new injection moulded spacer bracket, ensuring the Guardian Handrails have the necessary strength required for both applications.
Manufactured from a rigid PVCu Plastic the rail does not promote the growth of bacteria, is easy to clean and durable.
Available in a wide range of colours and with the ability to incorporate lettering, numerals and shapes, this rail will compliment any interior design scheme.
Signage can also be incorporated within the Guardian Handrails.
The Guardian Handrail does not contravene the DDA requirements when installed in either hospital wards or corridors.
The current building regulations: Approved Document M (2010), HBN 00-04 and HTM 69 all provide guidance and recommendations for handrails and their dimensions, but some of this information only applies to handrails that are fitted to stairways, external stepped and ramped access.
N.B. The system is also available as a two-tone Contra Rail, utilising a 20 or 75 mm contrasting feature strip.
