Cavity Closers

This CPD looks at the guidelines f or the specification of cavity closers and fire cavity barriers. The presentation and discussion deals with the subject of ho w to make the correct specification and meet with all current building regulation guidelines. The C PD presentation includes:

- What cavity closers & fire cavity barriers  are designed to achieve and how to select the right one

- Key Legislation and Industry Standards, including building regulations part L, C2, & B

- How recent sustainability guidelines affect specifications

- Environmental and Health and Safety considerations

- Examples of best  practice with specification examples

The seminar lasts 45-60 minutes including time f or a Q&A session. All seminars are part of the RIBA core curriculum syllabus and earn double CPD points for those attending the seminars.
